London, October 8th, 2014 –  Continental Search Alliance (CSA), the leading group of Executive Search agencies in Technology, Industry, Luxury and Banking sectors, has appointed Jerome Soudet, from CSA France (Hunton Lewis), as its new Chairman. As of today, Jerome replaces Johan Redtzer, from CSA Sweden, with his four-year term as Chairman coming to an end.

The choice was made during the most recent annual general meeting held in London in May 2014, and is officially announced today. Ten CSA member countries voted to approve the decision, namely Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy/Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and the UK.

CSA was founded in 2010 and is poised to set the standard in Europe for the recruitment of top executives and key contributors within the Technology space in particular, but also in other key sectors such as Industry, Luxury and Banking. A total of 46 CSA professionals are working in Europe to make a difference for local and international technology companies, having a real and effective impact on their business. Continental Search Alliance has successfully carried out searches in more than 20 different countries in Europe and worldwide – the reach of its local offices is certainly not confined to domestic talent alone.

The economy has changed dramatically since 2010, including in aspects such as new approaches to governance, major digital transformation, and businesses facing difficult environments in mature economies whereas growth is skyrocketing in emerging countries. This has tremendous consequences in terms of critical hirings: new types of leaders are needed, with a cross-silos vision over the international arena and the ability to deliver positive impact over the short and long term for their customers and shareholders. CSA has been set up to meet these new challenges.

Jerome Soudet comments: “CSA has grown from two countries initially to ten countries today, with plans to expand in Europe and the US and Middle East / Asia over the next few years. We are on the eve of a new step forward in our growth. Although CSA was set up during what is considered the worst economic crisis since World War II, we have continued to grow both locally and internationally. We are starting to change the game in the industry, setting up new critical approaches in the recruitment business: unrivalled specialization in key practices, swift hirings, specific dedicated in-house tools to select the A-players (a real breakthrough). Our approach produces a critical impact for our customers locally and globally. CSA will generate a bigger impact tomorrow on the whole market.”

Johan Redtzer, CSA Sweden says: “I have had the great pleasure of seeing our group enjoy success after success. I am amazed and proud at the pace of expansion we have managed to achieve over the past four years. I am sure Jerome will enable the whole CSA to reach a new level that will benefit our customers and future prospects.”
